I'm looking to buying a new lens in the 30mm area. There's two lenses that I'm really interested in and they are the "Nikon 35mm 1.8" and the "Sigma 30mm 1.4" (Pictures can be found above). The only huge difference is the price between the two. The Nikon 35mm 1.8 is $200 while the Sigma 30mm 1.4 is roughly $500. I think I might just go with the Nikon but the Sigma 30mm is just an awesome lens. If I can get the Sigma 30mm used and cheap, I might go with that but until I find that, the Nikon will reign supreme.
